When I see a duckling it makes me think of Evin. The first ultrasound picture we got of him at 6 1/2 weeks I thought he looked like a little duck and I use to call him my little "ducky" :) The first thing I bought for him was a soft white blanket with a little duck on it (the one in the picture). After we lost him someone knit a little stuffed duck for him and when I got his weighted pillow in the mail ... it had ducks on it!!!
I call my Annabelle my little ducky.. I used to call hear "Sucker head" because it seemed like I could never stop breastfeeding her. Somehow through time it turned into "ducker head" because it was "easier" to say. Then with time it turned into just "Ducker" because people said I should have "head" in the nick name... then it turned into "Ducky"... because "Ducker" didn't make since anymore lol.. that's why I have her Ashes in a stuffed duck.
